Battle Creek Farmers Market
Battle Creek Farmers Market provides fresh, local grown foods as well as local food vendors every Wednesday from 9am – 2pm and Friday from 3pm – 7pm. Now when you shop you also get to listen to live music provided by local musicians. The Farmers Market is held at Festival Market Square May – October.
The Post Band
Post Band is an outdoor concert series made up of area high school students as well as seasoned musicians. The concert band performs six times in the summer, June – July, each show beginning at 7pm at Festival Market Square. The Post Band creates a special theme each week and is performed rain or shine. If inclement weather should arise the concert is held inside the Kellogg Arena.
Vibe @ 5
Vibe @ 5 features regional performers playing popular tunes in a variety of genres. This is a seven part concert series starting in July and going through mid-August. All concerts start at 5pm and are held at Friendship Park (in the event of rain, concerts are moved inside to the Cricket Club).
Movies in the Park
Movies in the Park happens three times in the summer, June, July and August. All movies are family friendly, held at Mill Race park and begin at dusk. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy a summer night outside.
Food truck Fridays
Food Truck Fridays are a great way to spend Fridays in downtown Battle Creek. Held once a month May – August, Food Truck Fridays provide a variety of food trucks, farmers market vendors, musical performances and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase for those 21 years old and over. This event runs 5pm – 9pm and is held at Festival Market Square.
