Dean Edwards is a clean comedian perfectly suited for corporate events. With over 30 years as a stand-up comedian, he is one of the more sought-after comedians touring both domestically and internationally. Most notably recognized for his two-year tenure as a cast member of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, Edwards is best known for his multitude of remarkable celebrity impressions that include Denzel Washington, Dave Chappelle, Jay-Z, Mo’Nique, Chris Rock, 50 Cent, and Eddie Murphy. Recently, Dean showcased his amazing talents in his first comedy special, NETFLIX’s Tiffany Haddish Presents: THEY READY, which is currently airing on Netflix.
Edwards’ filmography includes supporting roles in Top Five, Spiderman 3, and Tony ‘n’ Tina’s Wedding. He has had guest appearances on Hulu’s supernatural comedy series, Deadbeat, as well as HBO’s The Sopranos. Dean also spent 2 years creating and workshopping the character of “Donkey” in Dreamworks’ SHREK THE MUSICAL on Broadway. This led to his being chosen as Eddie Murphy’s vocal double, voicing the role of Donkey in Dreamworks’ animated Halloween special, Scared Shrekless, and countless other Shrek-related projects.
Dean can currently be seen starring in the comedy, ‘CON JOB’, on Amazon Prime. He also voiced Corey Booker, Common, and various roles on the 2nd & 3rd season of Showtime’s television series, Our Cartoon President. His talents were also showcased on multiple episodes of Robert Smigel’s FOX series, Let’s Be Real as well as appearing on HBO’s Game Theory with Bomani Jones.
As a stand-up comedian, Dean is an in-demand headliner at comedy clubs worldwide: touring nationwide as well as recent international tours in Qatar, China, and Saudi Arabia. Most recently Dean was one of the highlights at the Dubai Comedy Festival.
Dean blends his quick wit with observational humor, perfectly suited for your next event. His approach is conversational while always ensuring that his material is relatable and well-received. He has had success performing for The NFL and MLB as well as a recent two-month/24 base tour with the US Air Force.
Dean also starred in and co-produced the award winning, Off-Broadway hit, RACE: THE MOVIE: THE PLAY, which premiered at the New York Theatre Festival and recently completed a sold-out run at the Soho Playhouse. The play is preparing for a larger run in 2025. As well, he is a working on a scripted project with Tiffany Haddish’s, She Ready Productions.

Mike is a unique comedian who hails from Pontiac, MI. Despite being a dropout from an Ivy League, he is a proud graduate of a community college. His humor is an insightful take on current events, family, and relationships. Growing up in a family with 17 siblings and being a father himself, Mike’s comedy is a blend of sharp wit and a smooth delivery. He has performed at some of the most prestigious comedy venues and has had the opportunity to work with Kevin Hart, Tom Papa, Hannibal Burress, Natasha Leggero, Jim Norton, and Rickey Smiley, among others.
Mike is a versatile artist who has been featured on Fox Television and Hulu’s comedy showcase “Laughs,” and on the Detroit episode of “Kevin Hart Presents: Hart Of The City 2” on Comedy Central. He has also moderated and hosted at national conferences, played Santa in a national OnStar commercial, and portrayed a casino bartender in a regional commercial. Additionally, he delivered a TEDTalk in October 2022 and can now be heard on SiriusXM on Kevin Hart’s LOL Radio!

No stranger to the Kellogg Arena, Ann Duke is a favorite of “women of a certain age” who can relate to the trials and tribulations of being single and navigating middle age. Her observations on generational differences and relationships are clever and poignant. For younger audiences, she’s your Mom’s sassy, sexy best friend. She has performed at comedy shows and festivals across the region including Sound Board at Motor City Casino, Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle, Detroit House of Comedy, One Night Stan’s, The Traverse City Comedy Club, and the Detroit Women of Comedy Festival. She has appeared with national headliners Tom Papa, Vic Dibitetto, Eric D’Alessandro, Nathan Timmell, Lynne Koplitz, Dave Landau, Derek Richards, Mike Geeter, Zach Martina, Mike Bonner, and more. For the last two years, she co-produced the wildly successful Traverse City Comedy Fest and runs comedy shows and events across the state with her partner Mike Geeter, doing business as SamRose Entertainment. She is a member of a branded show called Eyes Up Here which features five of Michigan’s top female comics. She appeared as a speaker at TedxDetroit in 2023 and recently toured with Showtime’s Funny Women of a Certain Age.

Melanie Hearn is a native of Detroit and is known for her unique voice in stand-up comedy. Her unabashed style and infectious energy always leave audiences and fans wanting more. She began her career in Detroit and quickly became a favorite at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle. Since then, sheor well-known comedians such as Maria Bamford, Mark Curry, and Preacher Lawson. Melanie has been has opened up f privileged to perform at world-famous venues such as the Hollywood Improv and the Comedy Cellar. Melanie Hearn is a comedian who is widely regarded as one of the most unique voices in stand-up comedy today. Born and raised in Detroit, she began her career as a comedian in the city and quickly became a local favorite. Her personality, energy, and unabashed style have endeared her to audiences and fans alike, and she has earned a reputation as one of the most exciting comedians in the business.

Born and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan, Richard started doing stand-up comedy in Indianapolis, Indiana at Crackers Comedy Club. Richard’s style is a blend of old-school setups and punchlines with an urban twist, which he’s honed over the years. I’ve had the honor of winning the Detroit to LA competition, the Damented Peach competition, and the Detroit Comedy Rumble, which have been important milestones in his comedy career. These achievements have helped Richard develop his unique voice and connect with audiences in a meaningful way. Richard is passionate about bringing laughter to people from all walks of life and looks forward to sharing his comedic talents with even larger audiences in the future.

Alexa Stanton grew up in a small, rural Michigan village where her fondness for corn and milk flourished. She began comedy in the Amazon capital of the world, Seattle, WA. After facing much ridicule for her name, Alexa returned to Michigan in 2022. Alexa and her short butt crack continue to travel the States looking to tell tales of her outlandish life to fresh faces. You can find her viral hit series Barefoot and Pregnant on YouTube and her podcast The Budcast on all platforms.
